Hi, I am Nico. I like a lot of things. All of them can be summarized in one word: Nature. In particular I like
some descriptions of Nature (Physics). I have been working on gravity and spin-2 fields (Chern–Simons formulations of Einstein–Cartan gravity, expansion of Lie algebras with applications in the gauge formulation of gravity, bimetric gravity). Currently I'm working on two-times physics –in such a universe you had to have two clocks whose times go by separately!
how Nature developed on our planet (trees, rivers, animals, etc.). I like going to the mountains to enjoy landscapes, the sun, the sounds, the air. I believe that contemplating Nature is the action that unifies the five senses. Also, I believe that Humans are actually able to stop conflict, to face current challenges and to agree in many things, such that we can ensure prosperity and live all together in harmony.
what animals do (to love, arts, to communicate, to eat). I like the fact that some animals love and are loved. Also, I like how they express themselves in an abstract sense. E.g., I like listening to music and playing the guitar and, in a concrete sense, I like the structure of language; in particular German grammar. About food, I like it a lot. In the last time I have been interested in responsible and sustainable consumption as well as in food which looks after the gut.
